Japanese Cultural Event in Brisbane: Bonsai Show

Bonsai is living art. It requires a lot of patience, knowledge and skill to create and look after bonsai. The impression of art slightly changes over the period of time with the intension of the bonsai artist and work of the nature.


Here in Brisbane, there is unique bonsai culture. Why don't you come to observe and learn little bit about bonsai. With your extra knowledge, you might enjoy and appreciate more when you visit Japanese gardens in Japan.


Location: Auditorium Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.

Saturday 6th May 9:00am – 4:00pm Sunday 7th May 9:00am – 4:00pm

MAJESTIC BONSAI ON DISPLAY DEMONSTRATIONS 10am and 1pm daily ITEMS FOR SALE – EFTPOS available BONSAI, SEMI TRAINED PLANTS, SOIL, BONSAI POTS, TOOLS, WIRE and BOOKS
Admission Still only $3.00 (Children under 15 free when accompanied by an adult) Meet at 9:30am in front of the Auditorium on Saturday 6th May to visit the show with us (Look for Miyuki). We will attend demonstrations at 10am. After the show, we will visit nearby Cafe to have chat in Japanese/ English.
